If you leave bread out unwrapped it will turn into a giant crispy crouton. If you put it in the fridge it dries out. If you put it in a plastic bag - it gets that "plastic" taste, goes soggy and then goes mouldy. An Oak or Walnut bread bin, on the other hand, will maintain your bread at an optimum balance of humidity, neither too dry nor too soft, for a reasonable number of days.

Our stunning wooden bread bins are available blank, with standard engraving or can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering. Up to 20 characters on the front face as well as underneath the lid. You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs.
